The end result screen I shared with King. This has all the elements that I had to work on included.

The background with the character I delivered. It was interesting to have to think of an environment in 2D, but I learned a lot about color, shapes and composition in the end.

I started this project off with some research about the game I had to re-design and what I thought the main parts of it were.

I did research into the art styles of King and what I had to look out for regarding the things I had to create.

I came up with a couple of ideas that I quickly worked out, this made me capable of making the right decisions later on due to trial and error.

As someone that never made a character, I went with what felt right to me. After some iterations I came to this little guy.

The development of the UI was interesting as it had to be interactive, readable, but still fit in with the style. Creating mobile UI was a good learning lesson.

I did an art test for King in which I was asked to visually re-design one of their existing games; Silver Screen.

In less than a week I was asked to work on the UI, Background, Game Elements, Character, and Logo. I had a lot of fun working on this and learned a lot from making a project fully in 2D. Next to this I had to deliver a presentation in which I explained my workflow, I added a small selection of these pages.
