To see how close I can get to the iconic style of Overwatch. I decided to translate one of their concepts to a 3D model.
In this project I pushed myself to research and duplicate their style, learned more about FX, and add small environmental animations.
Next to creating the assets, I recearched the Overwatch style to get a better understanding of it.
The great concept I used is made by Gabe Gonzalez for the game itself.
Rendered in UE4 to make sure it works in-engine.
