3D Visual Art student, specializing in 3D Environment Art.
I'm currently enrolled in the Visual Art program of NHTV/BUAS.
With my work I try to reflect my passion for creating 3D environments with a story. To achieve this I continiously work on both my set dressing abilities and how details in props can change a story. Creating fitting and beautiful props is one part of the process, but presenting these props in a certain way and find the underlying narrative is where it gets even more interesting for me.
I am currently enrolled in the Visual Art course at BUAS (formerly known as NHTV) and am in my 4th year.
In this course I am specializing in 3D Environments, with a focus on worldbuilding and prop modeling.
I participated in the debut of Microsoft Game Camp in Sweden. This was an initiative of the Sweden Game Arena and Microsoft, in which they gave the opportunity for game developers to pitch and create ideas for the, back then, un-released Xbox One.
During this time I learned to work with new technology, NDAs, communication with AAA developers, and leading a project from the ground up.
I started working for Watermelon Games as a 2D artist, but as my skills progressed, and I learned more within the company, I was eventually tasked to oversee the artistic vision of the overall projects.
Watermelon Games was a starting videogame company that specialized in 2D puzzle platform games. During my time here I learned a lot about teamwork, the 2D workflow, and adapting to a life abroad.
During my internship at the University of Skövde I worked on the project; 'Elin's Mysterium' for the municipality of the city. I worked on 2D UI related assets. The game is released on the App Store and is meant as a guiding game for throughout the city itself.
My main learning points for this internships were what it was like to work with a deadline, dependencies, stakeholders/clients, and what it is like to release a product.
